Flying Corgi Ranch has four alpacas that produce high quality fiber. Castillo, Edgewood, Maclaren and Cosmo are gelded males who were bred by Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch (www.mhralpacas.com), Cosmo’s fiber is chocolate brown, the other three alpacas are white, and their fiber can be dyed for a variety of uses.
The ranch practices sustainable and organic forest management on 40 acres, with 12 acres dedicated to a managed Douglas Fir forest, which consists of over 4800 trees, and natural stands of oak, cedar and maple. We sell lumber cut oak and cedar, as well as seasoned split Douglas Fir tree fall and thinning firewood by the cord. Firewood is available for purchase and local pickup.
